Alumni Charity Game set for Friday
The Devils Alumni are hitting the ice to help victims of Hurricane Sandy.
Ken Daneyko, John MacLean, Sergei Brylin, Grant Marshall and Bruce Driver are set to suit up against the coaches of the New Jersey Colonials in a charity game Friday, Nov. 16 at Morristown Mennen Arena. Proceeds will benefit the Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund, founded by New Jersey First Lady Mary Pat Christie, and the Interfaith Food Pantry of Morris County.
Tickets are just $10 for adults and $5 for youth and children 18 and under. Additional donations will also be accepted. Fans are strongly encouraged to bring a nonperishable food item.
Suggested donation items include: Parmalat, powdered milk, canned meats, hearty and lowsalt soups, peanut butter, nut butters, canned fruit, canned beans, brown and white rice in 12 lb bags, coffe, tea, juices, diapers, formula, baby food, granola bars, and canned chili.
