How old is this baby? Did you try a bath? Regular water or some juice may do the trick but if that baby doesn't stop the crying you may want to take it to the emergency room because it could be anything. I don't think that you should just assume its the heat. Especially if your baby isn't a cry baby if could be an ear infection or constipation.

I just used a regular LL Bean tote like this and kept it in the car for when I had emergencies and needed an extra pair of socks or something:if you want more of a diaper bag style thing then I go with eddie bauer ones.

I never had a problem doing it this way I also rarely have a poop cloth diaper because my son poops in the morning and I put him in a disposable to poop in sometimes. it fine, in my opinion, to do all the laundry together. the hot water kills all the germs and I cannot do a water wash so it be less economical for me to wash the diapers only.
